2018 Club Race #8
Another club race is in the books. This was the second to last race for the points series and the third to last official club race of the season. 2018 Club Race #7
Despite a relatively light turnout due to the holiday weekend, our last club race was anything but uneventful. Between quals and mains, the club hosted a "Dash for Cash" timed race in which all cars were welcome and the course was driven backwards. Photos of that particular event are, unfortunately, unavailable as our photographer, Nathan, was participating. We do, however have video of it, courtesy of Isaiah Furrows. Palouse River RC club race
Our neighbors to the south recently hosted one of their first club races. Palouse River RC is a new and growing club based in Potlatch, ID, and they're starting out right. Several RCCCS members took the trip down to show their support (and get some racing in, of course.) Photos can be found here.
Hot August Showdown in Libby, MT
Members of RCCCS often "support the sport" and will travel to events held by nearby clubs. The weekend of Aug. 4th-5th was no different. Several racers traveled over to Libby, MT, where the Kootenai RC Racers (KRCR) held their sixth annual Hot August Showdown.
